BATON ROUGE, LA — The City-Parish Department of Public Works and the Green Light Plan will hold a public information meeting to present information and receive public input on the planned Perkins Road widening project from Siegen Lane to just east of Pecue Lane.
The meeting will take place today from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m at St. George Church and School, located at 7808 St. George Drive in Baton Rouge.
City-Parish officials, Green Light Plan program representatives, and project team engineers will be on-hand to receive comments and answer questions related to the proposed project, which is currently in the early planning stages of the environmental study process. Additionally, meeting attendees will be able to review findings to-date, including the various design alternatives the project team is considering as potential routes for the project, and provide input on each as part of the Environmental Assessment Study phase of the planning process.
