BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Kids of all ages came out to the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens Burden Center to race through a massive corn maze.
The maze featured a giant hay hill in the center for kids to climb.
Friendly scare crows lined the route and after a few twist and turns kids made it to the mountain of hay.
Burden center officials say it's not easy creating the mystery route through the maze.
"It takes a little bit of work . We use modern technology now we gps the maze then go through with a gps unit in our hands and a mower follows is and we cut it out," Jeff Kuehny , Director LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens, explained. "Our maze is very family friendly so it's not a large amaze and it's pretty easy to find your way through."
The corn maze is open every on Saturday, October 5, 12, 19. Then on October 26 the maze is open for a special night time event. Kids can come see a bon fire, eat smores, and hear live music.
