BATON ROUGE, LA — The Southern University Marching Band will provide the halftime show performance at the New Orleans Saints game Monday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
The band, also called the Human Jukebox, will entertain an expected sellout crowd for the Saints’ ESPN Monday Night Football encounter with the Miami Dolphins. Both teams are 3-0.
SU’s Marching Band last played in the Superdome earlier this year at the pre-game show for Super Bowl XLVII.
“It’s always great to play before the enthusiastic crowds in the Superdome,” said Lawrence Jackson, SU’s Director of Bands. “They really get fired up for our shows and we try to deliver. Overall, it is a good experience for our students.”
