BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Losing it in Louisiana contestants are still pushing to the finish line, and Tuesday, they weighed-in.
"I'm doing great. I'm enjoying it. I was in 18's now I'm in a solid 12. So I'm very excited," contestant Lesa Coberly said.
Lesa and the three remaining contestants are still pushing to lose those pounds. For Miya Edwards, who says her weigh-in last month was a disappointment, she said hard work does pay off.
"I'm feeling very optimistic. I'm just kicking it into high gear. I didn't like last month how I didn't lose anything. I didn't gain anything, but I didn't lose anything either," Miya said. "So I just kind of went back to square one and just got back on it."
For Wendy Noble, she's still struggling because her weight's just not budging, but trainer Lake Johnson said that's normal.
"Everyone's probably still going through a bit of a plateau. There's going to be a point where your body's going to be like, 'nope' hang on to what it can," Lake said. "So they're all working extra hard for the same results."
"I really don't know. I'm just trying to get to the end of this, and see where things go from there,"Wendy said.
"I'm just really proud of everybody. I know it's hard to wake up early everyday, and come to the gym when it's much nicer to stay in your warm bed," Lake said. "Everyone working really hard and putting a lot of effort into it, so I'm very proud of everybody."
Contestants still have two months left in the competition. This month, Lesa lost 12 pounds, Miya lost 15 pounds, Nick lost five, and Wendy gained.
