BATON ROUGE, LA — District 5 Councilwoman Ronnie Edwards will hold a Citizens Advisory Council meeting today at 6:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Delmont Service Center, located at 3535 Riley St., Baton Rouge, LA 70805.
Representatives from the following agencies have been invited to participate:
State Representative Regina Barrow
East Baton Rouge Parish Department of Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Public Service Commissioner Lambert C. Boissiere, III
Byron Alexander, Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist
Citizens and stakeholders from District 5 are encouraged to attend and learn about the EMS, the service provided by our elected Public Service Commissioner, and the changes and benefits of healthcare reform.
District 5 community meetings are being held on the fourth Monday of each month until October. Meetings start at 6:00 p.m. on the Phase II side of the Delmont Service Center. Citizens that have been living with pesky issues such as blighted houses, overgrown lots, flooding streets, and illegal dumps in their neighborhoods are strongly encouraged to attend.
