BAYOU CORNE, LA (NBC33) — People living in Bayou Corne are getting ready for two big meetings tomorrow.
The first starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Assumption Parish Community Center. Attendees will get the chance to talk to local and state emergency leaders about the issues still going on in their community more than a year after a sinkhole formed near their homes.
Then, at 6:00 p.m., emergency leaders will give an update on venting gas inside the Bayou Corne community. That meeting will take place at the Command Post on Hwy 70.
