BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Hampton Inn and Suites is now open and accepting reservations.
This is the third hotel in the downtown area, but it’s the first one built in 51 years.
The Downtown Development District says this will hold more than 800 people, and they're excited to attract more people to our city.
"This is what the power and strength of this city is - we can come together and make big things happen, and with this case here, it's a wonderful new facility on the corner of Lafayette and Main Street,” stated Davis Rhorer, Executive Director of DDD. “It just continues the renaissance of downtown Baton Rouge, and we're so thankful."
The Hampton Inn is located in the heart of the downtown area.
