BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — An 18-year-old was arrested last night for the murder of a 16-year-old.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that Isaiah Combs was taken into custody after they received a tip regarding his location. He’s accused of shooting Cameron Phillips on June 12, 2013. 
The shooting happened at roughly 10:00 p.m. Phillips was reportedly walking to his home located in the 2000 block of Vickers when he was struck by bullets during a drive-by shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say witnesses were able to identify Combs as the suspect responsible for firing the gun. They have not said whether they are seeking any other individuals in connection to this shooting.
Combs was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
As of the day of this arrest, the Baton Rouge Police Department has investigated 33 homicides. Of those, 22 are reportedly solved with a suspect in custody.
