LAKE CHARLES, LA — A man was arrested in Lake Charles in conjunction with a bank robbery that took place in Orange, Texas.
On June 25 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to I-10 eastbound in reference to a vehicle that was possibly involved in a bank robbery that occurred in Orange, Texas around 3:15 earlier that day.
Deputies observed a vehicle matching the description given by Orange Police Department of a car seen leaving the parking lot of the bank after the robbery in Orange, driving eastbound on I-10 near Sulphur and conducted a traffic stop.
When deputies approached the vehicle they found Allen K. Miller, 49, Cameron, who matched the description of the suspect wanted in connection with the bank robbery.
Miller was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and is currently awaiting extradition to Texas.
