BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — True to her word, the woman who commented online on her own “wanted” picture page has turned herself in to authorities.
The East Baton Rouge Parish Office released information about Crystal Price, 25, after she was accused of firing a gun at the intersection of Greenwell Street and Silverleaf Ave . She allegedly said “I’ll kill all y’all” before firing the weapon.
NBC33 News posted the story on our Facebook and it gained viral attention after Price allegedly commented on the story via her page.
“I don’t bother anybody, but I’m not gone let nobody bother me either,” a post from Crystal Price reads.
Additionally, Price stated she never actually fired the gun, but did plan to turn herself in for the crime after seeking advisement from her lawyer. The incident occurred on June 11 and she turned herself in on Monday, June 24.
“Though it is an ongoing investigation and we cannot release all the details, there was enough evidence to support that shots were fired,” Casey Rayborn Hicks, EBRSO, said. “It was enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant from the judge.”
Price is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Illegal Use of a Weapon. She was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
