Lafayette, La — Four juveniles have been arrested after holding up a victim with a gun and robbing him.
On June 20 at around 3:05 a.m., Lafayette Police were called to the 100 block of Polk Street in regards to an armed robbery.
According to the victim, four black males approached him with their faces partially covered. The victim reported that one of the suspects produced a handgun and demanded his cell phone and his wallet, which he gave to him. The suspects then began to leave the area and the victim went to a local business and called 911. O
fficers arrived and located the four suspects, who were all juveniles.
Two of the suspects were arrested for Principal to Armed Robbery, and two were arrested for Armed Robbery. All four juvenile suspects, ages 15, 14, 14, 13, were booked into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center.
The victim's cell phone and wallet were returned. Police also recovered was the handgun used in the alleged crime. The victim was not injured.
