Bossier Parish, La (KTAL) — Schools in Bossier Parish are paying it forward, helping out victims from the Moore, Oklahoma tornadoes that touched down almost one month ago.
The schools are sending thousands of textbooks to the school district in Moore.
Earlier this month, Bossier schools donated over $10,000 to the Red Cross and Salvation Army.
The estimated value of the textbooks being sent - over $1 million.
They are no longer being used and school employees say this donation is a great way to help out where they can.
