BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Bob Zinn heard the news Wednesday night that he will not be criminally charged when Wildlife and Fisheries said he did not have the proper paperwork to house his 100 plus turtles .
Back in April the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries claimed over 100 of his turtles after he failed an inspection.
He had a special purpose possession permit that was issued to him years ago which is one of the main reasons charges are not being filed at this time.
He was facing a misdemeanor citantion of $50 and possible jail time.
Now Zinn will still head to court to see what can be done about getting his other turtles back.
