One adult film star hopes porn and politics mixes. NBC 33’s Stone Grisson got a change to speak with Baton Rouge native Stormy Daniels as she wrestles with the idea of running for Senate.
No joke, there’s a political storm a-brewing in the Pelican State. Stormy Daniels explains, “I know that a lot of girls like to be called adult entertainer, but...I’m an adult film star, writer, and producer.”
Baton Rouge native Stormy Daniels may be all those things, but politician? A new website draftstormy.com is trying to cast her in a new part, stripping Senator David Vitter of his Senate seat.
David Vitter’s platform of family values was tarnished when he publically admitted to being linked to a high priced prostitution service, but is Louisiana ready for this alternative? Daniels says, “Everything’s out in the open. I’m honest, I have no political agenda.”
Daniels may not be storming the nation’s capital anytime soon; she says she’s not going away. “Let me be your voice. No problem with people using me like that.”
If you’re interested, Storm told us she is against the stimulus plan and wants to help bring our troops home from Iraq. She also plans a listening tour across the state.
