Shreveport, La — Two suspects are behind bars this morning following discovery of a meth lab inside a home in central Shreveport Tuesday night.
Just before 9:00 p.m. on May 28, agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Unit arrived at a home located in the 1100 block of St. Vincent Avenue; authorities were told that an operational meth lab was in the house.
When officials arrived at the residence, contact was made with William McDonald, 35, and Kami Thorn, 38. Both suspects unsuccessfully attempted to flee the home on foot.
Authorities found chemicals and components consistent with the operational use of a meth lab in the home.
Following interviews with authorities, both McDonald and Thorn were arrested and booked into the Shreveport City Jail on charges of Operation of a Clandestine Lab.
