St. Martinville, La — Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office are searching for a man they think may be connected to a rash of storage unit burglaries.
On April 27, the St. Martinville Police Department received a burglary complaint of a city storage building unit located near the rear of McDonald’s. On May 15, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office received a burglary complaint of three storage units at EZLOCK Storage located just north of St. Martinville on La Hwy 31.
Video surveillance of the suspect and suspect vehicle were obtained. Detectives at both the Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office advise the suspect is a bald headed White or Hispanic male who cut the locks on several storage units to gain entry and access to their contents.
Any persons with information that could possibly identify the suspect are asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at 337-394-3071 or the St. Martinville Police Department at 337-394-3001.
