Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Anti-gun control laws continue to pass out of committee without major issues.
A Senate Judiciary Committee decided today to allow through two bills strengthening gun owners’ rights.
One bill makes it illegal for the federal government to put restrictions on semi-automatic weapons.
The second bill makes it illegal to publish names of those who have concealed-carry permits.
Both bills received only one vote of opposition.
