NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A man chopping trees on his Kentucky farm made quite a discovery in the dirt.
James Dodson was working on his farm when he noticed something sticking up out of the ground. He picked it up, thinking it was some odd green piece of glass. But when he took it home and his wife cleaned it up, he discovered it was a WWI medal.
The inscription reads: "Presented by the City of Perth Amboy to the boys who answered the call of 1917."
