BATON ROUGE, LA (nbc33) — Police are seeking a Baton Rouge woman who allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend on two separate occasions.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reports that the first incident occurred on Monday, April 22. The victim claims that his ex-girlfriend, Martina Creshaun Gibson, stabbed him and pulled out a gun.
Gibson reportedly returned for a second time three days later on Thursday, April 25.
The victim reports that he heard a window break. When he went outside, Gibson was standing in the front yard. She accused her ex of taking her television from their old apartment. He then offered to let her inside the home to prove that he was not in possession of the property.
At this point the victim claims that he turned his back and that’s when Gibson pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the shoulder. When he turned around, he was reportedly stabbed again in the forearm.
The victim claims to have grabbed the knife and it broke, so Gibson pulled another knife from her purse and attempted to stab him again.
Gibson reportedly fled the scene on foot and has not been located. A warrant has been issued for her arrest for Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries and is expected to recover.
