Bossier Parish, La — A two-vehicle crash in Bossier Parish has sent one driver to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
On April 30, 2013, shortly after 8:30 a.m., State Troopers investigated a two vehicle crash on LA Highway 2 at LA Highway 157 that seriously injured a Serepta woman.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an SUV driven by, Rebecca Wallace, 31 of Serepta was traveling west on LA Highway 2 when she struck a fully loaded 2013 Mack log truck/trailer, operated by James Stewart, 55, from behind.
Wallace and Stewart were restrained at the time of the crash.
Wallace sustained life threatening injuries from the crash. Stewart was not injured. There were no additional occupants in either vehicle.
Toxicology samples were obtained and submitted for analysis. This crash remains under investigation.
