As students prepare to return to class next week, some are met with a line they were hoping to avoid this year. For the last few days, students at Southern University have patiently sat in a line that has kept some wating for hours. Most need to complete financial aide applications, a process that began at the end of the Spring semester.
Unlike other universities, Southern does not currently have an option to submit these forms online. However, an online submission form was scheduled for completion this year. A representative told NBC33 News today that the online form will be completed and operational by next fall.
