NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Ohio's Preble Memory Garden Cemetery is one of the first in the state to offer environmentally friendly burial servics.
Conservation Green Burial buries people in a way that helps protect and preserve the land.
Traditional embalming chemicals are not used and burial vaults are not allowed.
"Each grave will be identified with a pin that gives the number of the grave and then at the edge of the tree line will be a place where plaques will be put with names, year of birth, year of death and the grave location they are buried in," said Dan Appenzeller, Cemetery owner.
