Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Education was also on the agenda for lawmakers today as they looked at up several proposed bills.
One of those bills would force the state to hold off on starting teacher evaluations. It's a law that was adopted in last year's session, even though it's heavily opposed by teachers and their unions.
Many teachers kept vigil at the Capitol today to let lawmakers know their feelings on it and other proposed bills aimed at education.
NBC33's Alex Deiro will have more developments on NBC33 News at 10.
