Baton Rouge, La — State authorities are searching for a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run.
On Tuesday, April 23, 2013 shortly after 9:30 pm, a hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian took place on LA Hwy 1025 (Arnold Rd.) near the intersection of Linder Rd. and Clinton Allen Rd. in Livingston Parish.
David Vidrine, 22, of Denham Springs, was walking along on the shoulder of Arnold Rd. when he was struck and seriously injured by an unknown eastbound vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene, and continued traveling east on Arnold Rd. The vehicle was last seen traveling east on Arnold Rd. past Dunn Rd. towards LA Hwy 447 (Walker Road North).
Troopers believe that the vehicle may be either a small white SUV style vehicle or a white passenger car. The vehicle will possibly be missing the passenger side rearview mirror, and have may have slight damage to the passenger side.
This incident remains under investigation, and Troopers urge anyone with any information to please contact Louisiana State Police Troop A (225-754-8500) or their local law enforcement agency.
