Baton Rouge, La — Cox Communications has announced that its Cox TV Connect app will now support Amazon’s Kindle Fire, Google’s Nexus and Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 2 and Note tablets.
With access to over 90 national cable channels, customers can download the free app on their device and start enjoying television in any room in their house today. In addition to the newly supported devices, the application creates a ‘second screen’ experience for customers on their iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch device.
“Tablets have really changed the game in terms of the way people view television,” said Colleen Levy, vice president of marketing for Cox’s Southeast Region. “Our customers want more than the traditional living room experience. We continue to evolve our products to meet customers’ changing needs, connecting them to the things they care about in ways that are easy to use and reliable. ”
