NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Emergency crews in Inkster, Michigan were dispatched to the Amity Baptist Church around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after receiving word that the roof had collapsed.
Once on scene, fire crews determined the roof did not cave in from a fire or explosion, but rather from a structural collapse.
The section of church under the collapsed roof is normally used as a daycare center for 30 children.
Luckily, no one was in that part of the church, and no injuries were reported.
