BATON ROUGE (WVLA)--You can save big money on back to school shopping this weekend.
The state's annual sales tax holiday starts today and goes through August 6th at midnight.
Most purchases will be exempt from the four percent state sales tax.
The discount doesn't cover vehicles, hotel rooms, meals and laundry services.
