Baton Rouge, La — As part of the Lemonade Day Louisiana initiative, local businessman McDaniel and members of the Louisiana Society of CPAs will host a workshop at LASM that will help prepare kids when planning their lemonade stand.
The event takes place April 7 from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at the Louisiana Arts and Science Museum in downtown Baton Rouge.
The fun and engaging seminar is free and open to youth of all ages.
At the event, kids can register for the Lemonade Day Louisiana and receive a free backpack that includes an entrepreneur workbook and materials.
Lemonade Day Louisiana is a free, community-wide program dedicated to teaching children how to start, own and operate their own business through the simple and time-honored act of building and running a lemonade stand. Young entrepreneurs are provided with free, detailed support materials to help them establish their lemonade stand on Lemonade Day, Saturday, May 4. Lemonade Day began in Louisiana in 2011 and the program reached nearly 10,000 Louisiana youth last year.
