BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — North Baton Rouge children will be learning with state of the art technology thanks to a grant from PBS.
Children will have access to new technology such as I-pads, cell phones and mobile apps to kick off early learning at a young age.
This grant is part of Louisiana Public Broadcastings “Ready to Learn Initiative.”
“I think using these powerful tools for educational purposes and you can use them for not good and good, it can make a difference in the lives of children,” said LPB’s, Beth Courtney.
Baton Rouge is one of five communities in the country that has been given this grant of over $100,000.
