ASCENSION PARISH, LA (NBC33) — Deputies in Ascension Parish are asking for the public’s help in identifying a cyclist who was struck in a hit-and-run incident.
Officials say the crash happened on LA 42 during the early afternoon on Thursday, March 21. We’re told the 26-year-old male was riding his bike when he was clipped by a 2011 White Ford F-150 Lariat. We’re told the victim refused medical treatment and only suffered minor injuries.
Deputies were able to recover the passenger’s side mirror from the scene. They now need information from the cyclist to complete the investigation.
