Scotlandville, La — The Seventh Annual HSEP (High School for Engineering Professions) Golf Tournament is scheduled in mid-April, and proceeds will benefit the Scotlandville Magnet High School Academy of Engineering. The event is scheduled Monday, April 15, at The Bluffs in St. Francisville. Sign-in begins at 7:30 a.m. with breakfast with a tee time of 9 a.m. The lunch and awards program is scheduled after the tournament at 1:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for first- and second-place teams for best net and gross scores.
Sponsorships are available for teams wishing to play in the event. The Platinum level is $2,000 for a hole sponsorship, registration for four players and promotion in all brochures and advertisements. The Gold level is $1,500 for a hole sponsorship, registration for three players and promotion. At the Silver level, one player is registered for $500, a Hole sponsorship is available for $200 (no player registration) and a Lunch (for one person) sponsorship is $100 (socialization included with East Baton Rouge City-Parish Mayor-President Melvin “Kip” Holden and team members from ExxonMobil, Shell, Dow and other petrochemical firms.
The deadline for registration is April 5. Each golfer who contributes two canned goods for donation to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will receive one mulligan (limit one per player).
