NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Hundreds of thousands of people who filed tax returns with H&R Block may have some trouble getting their returns.
The tax preparer admits it made a mistake related to form 88-63 for the Educational Tax Credit.
H&R Block says the filing problem impacts customers who filed from February 14-22.
Returns will be delayed because of the process necessary to correct the errors.
So far, H&R Block has not said whether it plans to offer rebates or other compensation to those impacted.
