NBC NATIONAL NEWS — United States Air Force personnel and reservists will no longer be able to have their college tuition paid.
The tuition cuts come as a result of federal budget cuts.
Just last week, both the U.S. Army and U.S. Marines announced they were placing a halt on tuition assistance.
It's expected that budget cuts won't affect the GI Bill.
Even with suspended tuition assistance, airmen will have the option to use alternate funding, such as grants and scholarships to pay for their education.
