NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Dr. Carolyn McCaskill, a professor of deaf studies at Gallaudet University, has seen firsthand the pressures of being black in America -- pressure made worse because she is deaf.
But even without a voice she's spoken out, in a book she co-authored with Dr. Ceil Lucas, Robert Bayley and Joseph Hill.
