NBC NATIONAL NEWS — An Oregon man accused of raping a developmentally disabled woman was arrested Wednesday by Multnomah County sheriff's deputies.
A grand jury indicted Cedric Graves last week for the rape and sex abuse of a developmentally disabled co-worker in the back of his van, after he had offered to give her a ride to work.
He was taken into custody Wednesday as he walked to classes at Mount Hood Community College.
"Due to the circumstances in this case, it rose above every other warrant we had in our stack today," Detective Todd Shanks said.
Graves said he didn't do it and called the allegation a lie.
"I don't rape females. I live with my mom and my grandmother. My parents know me. They know where I'm from. They know what I'm about. They know where I'm going when I die," Graves said as he was led away.
