ASCENSION PARISH, LA — Ascension Parish President Tommy Martinez announced that Babin Road will be closed to through traffic beginning Thursday, February 28 at 7:00 a.m. for approximately one week.
Parish DPW Director Ronnie Fairchild said crews will be repairing a bridge located on Babin Road at Bayou Goudine. The bridge is located approximately 2,700 feet north of the intersection with LA 74.
Babin Road is accessible by LA 74, J.D. Broussard Road, K.C. Road and U.S. Highway 61.
