Containment dome stops oil leak

There is guarded optimism across the gulf coast region. After 87 days, the oil stopped leaking into the Gulf of Mexico.

BP is testing it's new containment cap, which is a tighter fit than the previous dome.

The company should know within the next day or so, if the new device will keep oil from leaking into the water.
BP's top execs are still warning everyone that this may only be temporary.
