VINTON, LA (NBC33) — A 19-year-old was arrested for allegedly throwing large pieces of broken concrete off an overpass, onto passing vehicles on I-10.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that the suspect, Dalton J. Jaquillard of Sulphur, threw the concrete and wood debris off Fabacher Overpass near Vinton between Feb. 12 and 15. They say the debris hit at least 13 vehicles resulting in injuries and over $10,000 in damage.
Jaquillard was arrested and confessed to throwing the debris. He was booked and charged with Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property and Aggravated Assault.
The investigation is ongoing at this time and additional arrests are expected.
