New details have just been released, about the tragic death of Lindsay Zeno - the young woman from Lafayette who fell from the "Xtreme" rollercoaster ride at Dixie Landin’ amusement park Sunday.
Multi-system trauma has been listed as the cause of death in a preliminary report just released by the East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office. Whitnesses say Zeno was thrown from 30 feet up, after her shoulder harness came unlocked.
Chief of Investigations, Ramond Levie told NBC 33 News that there was not one specific injury the coroner could identify as the fatal blow, rather the combined impact of the fall that caused the 21 year old’s death.
The official report of autopsy should be released Wednesday.
