NBC News — It's a mystery how a 12 year old boy managed to sneak past security checks and get on a plane by himself. Spanish authorities say the Belgian boy snuck into the international departure zone at a Belgian airport. He then boarded a plane bound for Spain without a boarding pass or identification.
The boy was spotted by a police officer at his final destination. An investigation is underway into how the boy managed to dodge security checkpoints and get on the flight. The boy's uncle said his nephew ran away from home after an argument with a teacher.
