Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Thanks to a tip from Crime Stoppers, a fugitive wanted in conjunction with a June 30, 2012 murder has been arrested.
The Baton Rouge Police Department had been looking for Samuel Jamal Nicholas aka Mista Cain. Nicholas was indicted by a Grand Jury on January 16, 2013 for the homicide of Jordan Key that occurred on June 30, 2012 in the 3000 block of College Dr.
On April 22, Crime Stoppers received information that Nicholas was at an apartment in Corinth, Mississippi. The US Marshals Fugitive Task Force went to this location and arrested Nicholas.
Nicholas was charged with Second-Degree Murder and Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
