Iran experiments with captured U.S. drone

NBC News — Iran claims it has decoded video taken from a captured U.S. drone. Iranian state television showed the footage allegedly extracted from a CIA drone captured in 2011. The video aired late on wednesday and showed an aerial view of an airport and a city, said to be Kandahar in Afghanistan.

Iran has long claimed it managed to reverse-engineer the RQ 170 Sentinel Drone and that it's capable of launching its own production line for the unmanned aircraft. In 2011 a U.S. official confirmed that a Sentinel went missing. There has been no official comment from the Pentagon on Iran's latest claim.
