Former Ascension Parish felon arrested on multiple charges

ASCENSION PARISH, LA — Romel Julien, 27, of Donaldsonville, was arrested late yesterday evening in Donaldsonville.

He was wanted for unauthorized entry of a dwelling, domestic abuse battery, and felon in possession of a firearm. [1]

Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office authorities were alerted late last night after Julien caused another disturbance with his girlfriend at a local store in Donaldsonville. A short time later, deputies located Julien at a home in Donaldsonville where he was arrested.

He is currently incarcerated in the Ascension Parish Jail with no bond.
