BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — There's a new snack on the market and it has a Louisiana kick.
Swamp Seeds are a tasty treat that pairs Cajun boiled flavor with sunflower seeds. It's a combo that's not only taking south Louisiana by storm, but the rest of the country and even Hollywood!
Swamp Seeds are not only tasty, but they also helped a local woman pay her bills after a life-changing event.
"I hung wallpaper for 30 years. I loved it, but then I had to have hip replacement and I could no longer climb a ladder," Cathy Bryant, co-creator of Swamp Seeds, explained.
Coming up on NBC33 News at 10:00 we’ll tell you about how Bryant achieved her "seeds of success."
