Three town leaders at the center of a federal investigation will be back in court next week.
New Roads Mayor Tommy Nelson along with White Castle's Mayor Maurice Brown and Chief of Police Mario Brown will be arraigned on racketeering and corruption charges.
All three men have not hinted on possible resignations.
In White Castle a Town Alderman said the board has the right to ask the Brown brothers to step down. But, an elected official must be proven guilty of a crime before he can be forced to leave office.
