PORT ALLEN, LA (WVLA) -- Have you ever had to go to the bathroom while traveling, but rest stops and gas station public restrooms just didn't cut it?
Well, one gas station owner says, he will change your mind.
His bathrooms in Port Allen aren't only clean, but lavish, and he's betting you're willing to pay for the fancy furnishings.
It's called "Suite Relief."
The private bathrooms opened this week at the Chevron station off the Lobdell exit in Port Allen.
The luxurious latrines are staffed by a manager and a full service maid.
For $5, folks can take advantage of one of the four suites available.
Ammenities include granite counter tops, personal soap bars and a full length mirror.
Each room is cleaned after every use.
Managers say that's what keeps people coming back.
