THIBODAUX, LA (NBC33) — Two men were arrested after they allegedly stole a television from a Wal-Mart. Officials say the driver of the getaway car was intoxicated and his accomplice had illegal drugs in his possession, but claimed they were “vitamins.”
The Thibodaux Police Department reports that the incident occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at roughly 1:00 p.m. We’re told a television had been reported stolen from the local superstore and an officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one seen fleeing the scene.
