ST. MARTINVILLE, LA — The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation in reference to a non-compliant Sex Offender. Through the course of the investigation information was gathered which led to an Arrest Warrant being obtained for Alex Escoyne, 23, Breaux Bridge.
On January 22, 2013, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr. Escoyne in Lafayette, Louisiana, without incident for the following criminal offense: Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender and Failure to Appear
On January 22, 2013 Alex Escoyne was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center for the above charges and was later transported to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center where he was booked on the same charges. His bond has been set at $13,500.00.
