Company may use 3D imaging to speed up sinkhole recovery efforts

Bayou Corne, La (NBC33) — In Assumption Parish, a new plan could shave months off the investigation into the Bayou Corne sinkhole.

Texas Brine could start using 3D imaging at the site of that sinkhole; the other option was to drill two 6,000 foot wells.

Officials told us they'll get results more quickly with the 3D imaging. They also say it could even cut down on the time it takes for residents to return to their homes.
