Shreveport, La — The Columbia, South Carolina Police Department is looking for three missing people that were on last known to be on their way to Shreveport after attending a funeral.
Brady S. Brown, 49, along with his uncle, Eddie Lee Cobb Jr., 68, and family friend Ella Williams, 52, were in Columbia on January 4, to attend a funeral.
On January 7, all three individuals left Columbia in a 2006 beige or gold Dodge Stratus with paper tags. Their intent was to travel on I-20 Westbound to Shreveport, Louisiana from Columbia but they never arrived.
Relatives haven’t heard from or seen them since. Repeated calls made by family members go straight to voicemail. The last known communication is believed to have been made from a cell phone belonging to one of the three near Birmingham, Alabama on January 7.
One of Brown’s relative reported all three of them missing to CPD.
Investigators have received information that Williams may be in need of medications.
Investigators with CPD’s Special Victims Unit have contacted law enforcement agencies in these five states: Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
